Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Primerz AI Limited ("Primerz", "we", "us") is a Hong Kong company that provides an AI-assisted teaching and learning platform for schools and educators. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to our websites and the Primerz platform.

2. What we collect — and what we deliberately don't

We collect only what is necessary to run a lesson:

• Account data — name, email address, school affiliation, and role (teacher, student, administrator).
• Lesson content — materials teachers create or upload, and the work students produce inside a lesson.
• Usage data — technical logs (device type, timestamps, feature usage) needed to keep the service secure and reliable.

We do not collect advertising identifiers, we do not build behavioural profiles, and we do not track students outside the platform.

3. No AI training on student data

Student work, student conversations with the tutor, and any personal data of students are never used to train AI models — neither our own models nor those of our AI providers. Our agreements with model providers prohibit the use of your data for training. This is a contractual commitment, not just a policy statement.

4. How we use data

We use personal data solely to operate the service: running lessons, generating feedback for students, producing summaries for teachers, providing support, and keeping the platform secure. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Students and minors

Students access Primerz through their school. The school (or the individual educator) is responsible for obtaining any consents required from parents or guardians under applicable law. Student accounts are visible to their teachers and school administrators; we provide the school with tools to review, export, and delete student data.

6. Storage, security, and retention

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, isolated per school, and protected by role-based access controls with audit logging. We retain personal data only for as long as the school's or educator's agreement requires. On termination — or on request — we export or permanently delete your data. Retention is never indefinite.

7. Service providers

We use a small number of infrastructure and AI providers to run the service. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement, may only process data on our instructions, and may not use it for training or any other purpose. A current list of subprocessors is available on request.

8. Your rights

In line with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Students and parents should route requests through their school; educators and schools can contact us directly. We respond within the timeframes required by law.

9. Changes and contact
