Privacy Policy

Primerz AI Limited ("Primerz", "we", "us") is a Hong Kong company that provides an AI-assisted teaching and learning platform for schools and educators. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to our websites and the Primerz platform.

We collect only what is necessary to run a lesson:

• Account data — name, email address, school affiliation, and role (teacher, student, administrator).
• Lesson content — materials teachers create or upload, and the work students produce inside a lesson.
• Usage data — technical logs (device type, timestamps, feature usage) needed to keep the service secure and reliable.

We do not collect advertising identifiers, we do not build behavioural profiles, and we do not track students outside the platform.

To generate a response, that data is processed by the third-party AI providers we use; what those providers may do with it beyond generating that response is governed by their own published terms, not by us. We are reviewing our provider arrangements to strengthen this guarantee. On request, we will give your school's data-protection officer our current provider list and each provider's published data-handling terms.

We use personal data solely to operate the service: running lessons, generating feedback for students, producing summaries for teachers, providing support, and keeping the platform secure. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Students access Primerz through their school. The school (or the individual educator) is responsible for obtaining any consents required from parents or guardians under applicable law. The teacher who owns the class can review student work directly in the product, enforced by row-level permissions. Export or deletion of student data is available on request.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is scoped by row-level security to the teacher who owns the class and the school they belong to, and enforced by role-based permissions. We retain personal data only for as long as the school's or educator's agreement requires. On termination, data is retained for the remainder of that period by default; export or earlier permanent deletion is available on request. Retention is never indefinite.

We use a small number of infrastructure and AI providers to run the service; they process data as needed to deliver it. At this stage we rely on those providers' published terms rather than individually negotiated data-processing agreements. A current list of subprocessors is available on request.

Primerz runs on cloud infrastructure and AI services that may process data outside Hong Kong. Because the specific providers can change, we do not fix locations in this policy; your school's data-protection officer can request our current provider list and each provider's processing location at any time. If we make a material change to where or how student data is processed, we will notify schools before it takes effect.

In line with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Students and parents should route requests through their school; educators and schools can contact us directly. We respond within the timeframes required by law.
